Opportunities to Volunteer

  1. Winter Arts Festival - Saturday December 10, 2011, 10am-4pm - 9th Annual Winter Arts Festival

    We need volunteers to help man the Gilpin Democrats booth. We sell buttons and bumper stickers and engage in fun and philosophical political conversations with the festival attendees. We also try to broaden our network of local Democrats.
    You can email the Gilpin Dems or call Gussie Walter at 303-642-3598 if you can man the booth for a two hour shift.

  2. Obama for America - From Spencer Hattemer - September 29th
    Obama for America coordinator for Gilpin County

    If you can have anyone who wants to get involved give me a call or email me, that would be great. We're building this campaign on neighborhood, people-based community organizing, so we need volunteers to help us re-engage with our supporters and build the organization.

    We'll need to register voters, persuade the undecided, and turn out our voters.

The holidays are just around the corner. The county food bank relies on donations to help those in need at this time of year.
